Jacqueline Fernandez – Making The Switch From Modeling To Cinema
Although she has begun her acting career in 2009 only, Jacqueline Fernandez has quickly managed to become one of the most representatives Sri Lankan celebrities. Before starting her venture with the Bollywood productions, the young actress has managed to draw some attention through her beauty and modeling career. Practically, she became the Miss Sri Lanka Universe in the summer of 2006, but she was also featured in numerous local commercials.
The Jacqueline Fernandez hot appearance is definitely one of the first aspects that counted in her acting career. It is hard to tell how a model will perform in front of a camera. In fact, most of them do not have the charisma and skills to actually come up with a good role. Fortunately for the young Sri Lankan model, things turned out to be pretty good for her. She debuted in 2009, in “Aladin”, with Ritesh Deshmukh. The debut movie was not glowing and the new actress received a lot of contradictory reviews. Some critics referred to her as a plastic actress, while many others agreed that she actually stood up to the expectations. Ever since that moment, she played in six other movies. Two of them were released in the first months of 2013.
As for the Jacqueline Fernandez upcoming movies, the future seems pretty bright. Two post productions for 2014 have already been announced and it is still early – “Roy” and “Kick”. Although her acting skills are clearly improving from one movie to another, the young Sri Lankan is still working on sculpting her status in the cinema industry.
