Liga BBVA : La Liga is the first division of the LigaNacional de Futbol Professional it is the English version of this name. Liga BBVA is the official name of this division. It is the foremost professional football league of the Spanish Football League System. In this league 20 teams participate. It has three lowest teams that are relegated to the Segunda Division and then it is replaced by the two teams in that division plus one of the winners of the playoff. Till now a total of 59 teams have competed in this league, nine of which have been crowned with the champion’s trophy.
